blackberry tapenade

This recipe features many different Bell-View products. They are all linked in the buttons below. Try this for your next party! The salty-sweet mix of olives and preserves makes for a delicious spread that’s sure to delight.



INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup Bell-View California Jumbo Pitted Black Olives

  • 1/3 cup walnuts (I used a spicy-sweet variety)

  • 1 tbsp. capers, rinsed and drained

  • 3 dried figs

  • 3 dried dates

  • 2 tsp. Bell-View Honey

  • 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp. Bell-View Cider Vinegar

  •  1 tsp. Bell-View Chopped Garlic

  • 2 tbsp. Taste the Fruit 1st Blackberry Preserves

  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

  • Chips, bagel crisps, baguette.

RECIPE:

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend for 30 seconds. Do not over mix! It will form a paste consistency.

  2. Place in a container and chill for a few hours.

  3.  Serve with chips, bagel crisps, or a baguette.
