Bell-View’s Yellow Popping Corn is definitely a fan favorite item from our customers. It tastes amazing by itself but we decide to jazz it up a bit this week! Italian Popcorn is the perfect addition to a rainy movie night at home or try and sneak it into the theatre! We won’t tell!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic 

  • 1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary

  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp. canola oil

  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels

  • ½ cups  Parmesan cheese, grated (about 1/2 cup)

  • 1/4 tsp.finely ground sea salt

     Instructions:

  • Place olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan, heat over medium-low, undisturbed, until sizzling, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Add Italian seasoning. Stir once, and cook, undisturbed, until garlic softens and is fragrant. Remove from heat; set aside.

  • Place canola oil in a large saucepan fitted with a lid, heat on high. Add 2oz of popcorn kernels cover and shake saucepan until kernels pop. Cover and shake constantly until kernels stop popping, about 2 minutes.

  • Immediately pour popped popcorn into a large bowl. Drizzle with garlic-olive oil, stirring to coat. Add cheese and salt; toss to coat. Serve quickly.
