Oatmeal Maple Cookies

This recipe features our brand new Grade A Maple Syrup! The maple syrup is the primary sweetener for these cookies. It makes for a more subtle sweetness verses classic white sugar. Give them a try the next time your sweet tooth starts yelling at you!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter

  • 3/4 cup Bell-View’s Maple Syrup

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp. baking soda

  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

RECIPE:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a bowl, mix butter and maple syrup until creamy.The add eggs and vanilla, and whisk until combined.

  3. In a second bowl, combine dry ingredients until well mixed. Slowly pour into the butter mixture, mixing slowly until well combined.

  4. Add oats and dark chocolate chips and fold into the dough until combined.

  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup. Bake 12 minutes in the oven.

  6. Let them cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
