Ingredients:

Bar

  • 1 box lemon cake mix

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 1/3 cup lemonade

  • 1  8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup Taste the Fruit 1st Strawberry Preserves

    Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tbsp. Strawberry Preserves

  • 2 tbsp. lemonade

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x9 pan with nonstick spray.

  2. Mix together the dry cake mix, the butter, and 1/3 cup lemonade until soft dough forms. Press half of the dough into the pan.

  3. Beat together cream cheese and sugar. Add egg and preserves then beat until creamy. Spread over dough.

  4. Take the rest of the dough and rip it into pieces and place on top of the cream cheese mixture. It’s okay if it doesn’t cover the whole dessert. Bake for 30 minutes.

  5. Let cool for 2 hour, then let chill in refrigerator.

  6. Mix together all of the glaze ingredients and spread on top of the lemonade bars.
