Bell-View’s Taste the Fruit 1st Preserves are such versatile products! Not only can you enjoy these goodies on toast but you can also incorporate them into baking to enjoy at home! We’ve taken and adapted this recipe to make something delicious for you and yours. Taste the Fruit 1st Cheddar Biscuit Bombs are surely a classic that’s sure to delight you and your family.

We recommend Hot Red Raspberry or Hot Pepper Peach!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup Taste the Fruit 1st Preserves 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper,

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. 

  3. In a large glass-measuring cup, whisk together buttermilk and butter. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and stir using a rubber spatula just until moist. Gently fold in cheese with hands. 

  4. Roll about 14 little balls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.  Thumbprint 7 of the dough balls, place a tbsp. of TTFF preserves inside. Place other 7 dough balls on top of dough with preserves. Smash down.  

  5. Place into oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
