BELL-VIEW’S ‘FRIED’ PICKLES

Bell-View’s ‘Fried’ Pickles are oven baked and delicious. In this recipe we utilized Hot & Sweet Cucumber Chips but you could use any Bell-View Pickle to make this delicious appetizer.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp. melted butter

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup Hot & Sweet Cucumber Chips, patted dry with paper towels

  •  3 tbsp. of Hot & Sweet Cucumber Chips brine 

 SAUCE:

  • 3 tbsp. of Hot & Sweet Cucumber Chips brine

  • ¼ cup ranch

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°then line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a shallow bowl, stir together panko, melted butter, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Put flour in another shallow bowl. In a third bowl, beat eggs. 

  2. Toss pickles in flour until lightly coated, then dip in eggs, then toss in panko mixture until fully coated. 

  3. Place pickles on prepared baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes. 

SAUCE:

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Serve with fried pickles.
