blackberry tapenade
This recipe features many different Bell-View products. They are all linked in the buttons below. Try this for your next party! The salty-sweet mix of olives and preserves makes for a delicious spread that’s sure to delight.
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup Bell-View California Jumbo Pitted Black Olives
1/3 cup walnuts (I used a spicy-sweet variety)
1 tbsp. capers, rinsed and drained
3 dried figs
3 dried dates
2 tsp. Bell-View Honey
3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp. Bell-View Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Bell-View Chopped Garlic
2 tbsp. Taste the Fruit 1st Blackberry Preserves
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Chips, bagel crisps, baguette.
RECIPE:
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend for 30 seconds. Do not over mix! It will form a paste consistency.
Place in a container and chill for a few hours.
Serve with chips, bagel crisps, or a baguette.
