blueberry blondie sundae
Try this summer time dessert! We’ve used our blueberry preserves for this recipe but any in our line will work!
INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 stick of unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. orange extract
8oz. white chocolate chips
TOPPINGS:
Vanilla ice cream
1oz. Taste the Fruit 1st Blueberry Preserves
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350F. line an 8”x8” baking pan with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, sift cake flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter, egg, and sugars together. Then add all extracts and mix gently. Fold in white chocolate chips with a spatula.
Then add batter to lined baking pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
Once fully baked, spoon out 1oz. of blueberry preserves per serving into a microwave safe dish. Heat in microwave in 10 second intervals until it reaches more of a liquid consistency.
Slice blondies and serve with vanilla ice cream with blueberry preserves on top.
