cheeseburger monkey bread
This Cheeseburger Monkey Bread is a fun riff on an American classic! This would be great for kiddos or a fun appetizer for a party! I used the Sweet Hawaiian Biscuits for this recipe and it did not disappoint!
INGREDIENTS:
For the Beef:
16 oz. lean ground beef
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper.
For the Monkey Bread:
4 pieces of bacon, cooked
2 16-oz. cans jumbo refrigerated biscuits (I used Hawaiian Sweet Biscuits flavor)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup miracle whip
¼ cup Bell-View Yellow Squeeze Mustard
½ jar of Hot & Sweet Garlic Cucumber Chips (chopped finely)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a Bundt pan.
Place large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add beef mixture. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to break mixture crumbles. Once cooked, let rest. Allow the juices to absorb back into the meat.
In another pan, fry up the bacon.
While that’s frying up, take the Hot & Sweet Garlic Cucumber Chips and add to a small food processor. Add a tbsp of brine to the pickles and chop for 15 seconds or until finely chopped.
Once bacon is cool to touch, chop finely.
Then cut each biscuit into fourths and place in a large bowl.
Then add cheeses, pickles, ground beef, and bacon. Mix well, then add ketchup, mustard, and miracle whip. Mix with hands until well incorporated.
Add mixture to the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. If you prefer your biscuits a bit underdone, cut the time to 35 minutes.
Let cool for 25 minutes, then pop out of the pan.
