Elderberry Lamb Chops
This recipe features many different Bell-View products. They are all linked in the buttons below. We also served the lamb chops with some Dill Rice Pilaf and some Baked Veggies.
INGREDIENTS:
1 jar of Taste the Fruit 1st Elderberry Jelly
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup fresh mint (chopped)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Bell-View White Vinegar
2lbs Lamb Chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. butter
RECIPE:
Combine all wet ingredients into a pot. Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat. Once combined, take off heat and let cool.
Lightly coat lamb chops with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
Place lamb chops and marinade in a container and let it set in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat oven-proof skillet and sear lamb chops for 2 minutes on each side.
Then place in a preheated oven with the rest of the marinade and cook for 16-18 minutes.
