popcorn Balls

Happy National Popcorn Day!Bell-View’s Pop Perfect! Popcorn is perfect for movie nights but it also makes for great Popcorn Balls!What a great way to celebrate! We’ve adapted this recipe to create a decadent dessert that’s sure to impress your friends and family!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 quarts of Bell-View’s Popcorn

  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil 

  • 1 cup of light corn syrup 

  • 1 cup sugar 

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 3tbsp. butter 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Make the popcorn according to the packaging. If using Bell-View’s Yellow Popping Corn, melt a tbsp. coconut oil in a small pot. Then add in 4 tbsp. of Bell-View’s Popping Corn. 

  2. In a skillet, mix together the water, sugar, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until it reaches 240 degrees. (Use a candy thermometer). 

  3. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla to the mixture. Keep stirring until the butter is completely melted. Then pour over popcorn completely. 

  4. Once cool enough to manipulate, form the popcorn balls and let stand until completely cool.
